The Sarandí was a schooner built in Baltimore in 1825 and later incorporated into the Argentine Navy. As part of the renowned Baltimore Clipper tradition, it was designed for speed and agility, making it highly effective in both combat and long-distance navigation.

The vessel played an active role in the Cisplatine War (1825–1828), participating in naval operations across the South Atlantic. Like many ships of its class, it was likely equipped with light artillery, allowing it to engage in skirmishes while maintaining its primary advantage — speed and maneuverability.

Its elegant lines and performance made it a symbol of early Argentine naval power and maritime expansion.
